Here's what are clients are saying...

"When building a new headquarters for the Valley VNA, I found it almost unbelievable how much you need to know about easements, contracts, mortgages, bond issues, HUD rules, and the whole world of real estate. I just handed everything over to Roy Fine and Jon Groh and told them, 'here do it.' I'm a nurse, not a lawyer.

I have trusted the firm from day one and they've eliminated a lot of headaches for me. If I had a question, they explained it to me in a way I could understand. You know, law 101 for Dummies."

"When you're lying in the hospital with two busted legs, a cracked vertebrae and broken ribs, the last thing you should have to think about is insurance and settlements. But that's what happened after my accident. I had a pretty bleak future, saw myself hobbling around for the rest of my life. Then Phil Munroe entered the picture and took over the dealings with the insurance company.

Suddenly there was compensation and a future. Thanks to Phil, I'm back on the assembly line."

John Kleinschmidt

"Several years ago, I lifted something and injured my back at work. The injury was so severe that I had to have surgery on my back. After that I had permanent work restrictions and couldn't go back to my original job.

I had gone to three or four other law firms who told me that I wasn't entitled to anything. Then I heard about DiRenzo & Bomier and Sam Bomier especially. When I first met Sam he basically said, "of course you're entitled to a settlement." He knew the law and went right to work to get my case heard. He filed for loss of earning capacity and then we had to wait six months for a hearing. After Sam presented our case and the other attorney presented theirs, the judge decided in my favor, we won!

In 2003, I had another work related injury - I herniated a disc in my neck. I was still working on a light duty basis and when it didn't get better after six months I went to see the doctor who operated on my back and he confirmed that I had a C5 -6 herniated disc and recommended I have my neck fused. At that time, the company denied my claim for workers' comp. I didn't even think about calling another attorney, I went right to Sam. We went through the same process as before and after the hearing, the judge again sided with me and we won.

I think Sam Bomier is just a great guy. In my opinion, he's the best workers' comp attorney in the area - as a matter of fact he's the only one who would take my case. And after winning both my cases, I can't say enough good things about him. He constantly stayed in contact with me through phone calls or letters. If he wasn't in the office, he'd call me right back. He's very thorough and explains everything to me so I knew where I stood at all times. He's just great; I'll always stick with Sam."

Brian Lukaszewski

"Bob DiRenzo & Roy Fine assisted me when I bought two companies in 1995 and '96. They were an invaluable resource to me. They not only structured the deal and closed the transaction, but handled all the details to make the acquisition a success.

DiRenzo & Bomier far exceeds the legal skills that you'd think you'd find in a small Wisconsin town - you don't have to go to Milwaukee or Chicago. We're based in Kansas and have maintained our relationship with DiRenzo& Bomier for all our corporate work through the years. In my mind, their corporate work is brilliant. They're not just my company's advisors and legal assistants, they're our partners."

Michael Powers
Chairman and CEO
Kennel-Aire

"Thanks to DiRenzo & Bomier, I get to spend a lot more time with my kids. That's the main thing for me. It's tough enough to have a marriage crash, but when you lose your kids, it's horrible.

I had a divorce lawyer before going to DiRenzo & Bomier, but I knew I was going to end up on the short end so I looked for someone else and really lucked out. The minute I met with Howard, I knew he'd be in my corner right away. He worked out a deal and my child support reduced after seven months of overpaying.

He's just the kind of guy who is so professional that when he walks into the courtroom, everyone notices and listens. There's a lot to be said for that kind of respect. It just speaks for itself."

Michael Punzel, Hortonville

"When I hired a new partner for the Kennedy Center, I called Robert DiRenzo at DiRenzo & Bomier. From past experience, I knew their team of specialized corporate attorneys would handle my case with attention to detail and respond quickly to any questions I had. They developed a structure that is advantageous to both my partner and me - we're both winners. DiRenzo & Bomier is an excellent firm in every sense of the word."

Jeffrey McLaughlin, M.D.
Medical Director, The Kennedy Center for The Hip & Knee

"Even in a small company like mine, you have employee issues, some work related, others personal. When I can't solve them, I call DiRenzo & Bomier and they come to the rescue.

I know I'm a small client but I don't' feel that way. I get the same level of service as anyone else, every time! It's a matter of comfort and trust for me."

Steve Penkala

"Our bank has been a cornerstone of the community since its founding in 1887. I've worked here for eight years now and have extensively used DiRenzo & Bomier. Phil Munroe and Jesse Ostrom handle a lot of our business banking work. They structure commercial transactions, ensure compliance and workout of transactions.

We consistently use them because of their high level of competence. We also enjoy the fact that the partners at DiRenzo & Bomier have been with the firm for many years. This continuity makes our relationship very comfortable; we don't have to reinvent the wheel with each transaction. Phil and Jesse know our methodology so well that they can take whatever the project is and go to work from there. They've been in the market for more than 50 years and know all the players. Because of their experience and skill, our company has a high level of confidence and comfort in working with them. Phil Munroe is great and the entire partner group is fantastic."

"When my grandmother died, she left her estate to me and to another party. My grandmother basically had everything in different files and boxes - it was just a mess.

When the other party and I couldn't resolve it between ourselves, I looked for an attorney to help. I had seen the advertising for DiRenzo & Bomier and I talked with some other people who recommended them to me, and I ended up calling Jesse Ostrom for help.

At first I talked with Jesse about being the mediator between myself and the other party involved - who also had an attorney. When Jesse started looking at all the paperwork and the financial end of it, he gave me great advice and took over handling the entire estate for me.

In my eyes, Jesse did all the work on the estate. I was very satisfied with everything he did. He never left me in limbo. He kept me up to date in a timely manner and was very professional. I'm sure he called me every week to let me know what was happening. It probably took a year to settle the estate. We had an Estate Review with the State of Wisconsin, which took a long time. But Jesse really stayed on top of it and kept it moving through the legal system and got it resolved to my great satisfaction."

Eric Gullixon

"When my husband died without a will a few years ago, I didn't know where to turn. Thankfully, a friend recommended Roy Fine and I haven't had a worry since that day, despite the huge financial mess I found myself in. When Roy handled the estate, he explained everything, step by step and I just did what he told me to do. Now that's really trust. And when he felt someone in the firm was more familiar with aspects of my case, he had no problem consulting with them.

When I was in an accident recently, I got a big get well bouquet from my probate attorney. What other attorney would do that?"

Diane Arneson

"I'm just a little business guy, but when I needed help in getting a settlement, I turned to Roy Fine and he straightened everything out for me. He gave me just as much time as I needed every time I went to him. If he didn't know the answer, he just asked others in the firm. No matter what the problem, I just call up the guys at DiRenzo & Bomier in Neenah."

Honest. Reliable. Accurate. That's the way Gary Youso sums up his feelings about DiRenzo & Bomier.

He says, "Their assessment and analysis of any situation is very accurate. The advice they've given me and my company has always been the right advice. They don't always tell you want you want to hear, but give you an accurate assessment about your particular situation.

"I've always been very happy with the outcome - whether it was an employment or labor issue, registering trademarks, a business problem or a collections issue. I can only think of two times that I wasn't happy with the outcome and that was when I didn't heed their advice. Since I didn't win doing it my way, I've learned to listen to them.

"I've worked with Phil Munroe, Roy Fine and Howard Healy over the years and they're all very accomplished in their area of law.

"When I went to court on a very large collection matter, they researched the entire case to see if there were any valid reasons why our customer wasn't paying the bill. Phil gave me an accurate assessment, up front, what might happen in court and urged me to settle with the client. DiRenzo & Bomier didn't make as much money as they could have, but they were honest enough to tell me what the probable outcome would be and I settled the suit out of court.

"I've worked with Howard and Phil and Roy and they're always conscious of the costs I'm incurring. That's not always of true of other professionals. They have a good assessment of what the costs will be for the value of the project.

I started with DiRenzo & Bomier in 1979 when our company was based in Neenah. We were so happy and comfortable with them, that even when my business moved to Mayville, I stayed with them and will continue to stay with them - they're that good."

"It's scary being 63 and injuring your back lifting a patient. Where do you go when you can't walk and can't work and workmans' comp tells you you're ready to go back to work.

Well, I went to DiRenzo & Bomier and within a month, I got a financial settlement. And all I did was listen to Sam Bomier explain things to me and sign the necessary papers.

They negotiated credit card and medical bill settlements and even got me therapy. Mr. Bomier put me at ease. All I wanted was peace of mind, and I got it from DiRenzo & Bomier."

Ruth Glassburner

Sometimes in life you need someone to hold your hand. You just don't expect it to be your lawyers. But that's what Howard Healy did when I was going through a divorce and diagnosed with cancer.

And that's what Roy Fine did when I rewrote my will and set up new guardianship for my kids.

Both attorneys were so protective of me, almost paternalistic, checking to see if I was okay when I was least expecting it. When I set up my charitable company, I think they worked on their own time to help me get it going. They're wonderful attorneys and people."

Kathy Devereaux

"My brother passed away this year and the medical examiner told me to get an attorney because he didn't have any will.

Jesse has taken over everything for me. He explains everything he's doing and we're so happy with everything he's done for us.

I couldn't ask for a better person to do this for us. I told him I couldn't find a better attorney. When he says he's going to do something for me he does it. We talk and in a day or two, I either have a phone call from Jesse or something in the mail.

I wouldn't have had any idea how to handle all the details; he took care of the taxes and selling my brother's house and just everything. You feel secure knowing that you've hired someone you can trust to do what he says he going to do.

He's a very nice fella. If I hear of anyone who needs a good probate attorney, I'd highly recommend him."

Kurt Rackow

"It's no small thing selling a business, even a small one like ours. We wanted to make sure everything was solid and we would end up with a good trust. All we can say is that we couldn't have asked for anything more from an attorney. We had dealt with other lawyers in the past but no one gave as much attention to us as the lawyers at DiRenzo & Bomier, starting with Phil Munroe.

Basically, they charged a fair price and we got every bit of what we paid for and more."

Bill and Bev Armstrong

"A few years ago, I wanted to buy Calumet Publishing Co. I had worked for newspapers for years but had never owned a newspaper or even a business. When you're in that situation it's tough working with banks. I went from one bank to another and not one would give me a loan.

Howard Healy, at DiRenzo & Bomier, suggested that I talk to Jesse Ostrom. It was the best advice I got. Jesse handled everything for me: he found a bank willing to take a risk on me; he arranged the financing and closed the deal. I knew nothing about dealing with banks, I just wanted to own a newspaper and Jesse made it happen.

Even though he's a relatively young attorney, Jesse's energy and willingness to go the extra mile for me made all the difference. He even re-negotiated our rates with the prior owners. Jesse seems like such a mild mannered guy, but he's really tough. When you need him, he's in your corner all the way.

DiRenzo & Bomier did such a wonderful job for us that they continue to be our corporate attorneys. In a small business, it's surprising how many times you need an attorney - they handle all our legal matters from contracts to corporate reports. I deal with and feel very comfortable with many of the attorneys at the law firm - Howard Healy, Sam Bomier and Jesse Ostrom are outstanding lawyers who will fight for you every step of the way."

Owner/President

"Rachel is as sharp as a tack... she has all the confidence in the world. We had been applying for two years to the Social Security Administration and we had been turned down twice. Within six weeks, we met with Rachel at DiRenzo & Bomier, and she was completely confident. She prepared me for a winning case and that's just what we did - we won!

I wanted Social Security Disability because I was in such pain I couldn't work. I had heard about the trial lawyers at DiRenzo & Bomier, that they'd go to court with you, and I was desperate, I really needed help.

When I met Rachel I was so impressed by her confidence and understanding. She was so thorough and prepared, that when we went in front of the judge, we had no trouble winning the case."

Fox Cities Woman

"The day I met Howard Healy, I could finally sleep the whole night. He made me feel safe. He's calm, always prepared and so smart he could outmaneuver my ex-husband.

The divorce proceedings started in Florida. And by the time I came back to the Valley, my emotional and financial life was a mess.

It all changed when I met Howard. He not only got all the needed documents from Florida, but he made sure I got the maintenance that was coming to me. Nothing deterred him from helping me. It felt like I had to go through two divorces to get the right attorney."

Teresa O'Hearn, Appleton

"I'm a Financial Advisor with a local investment firm and I partnered with Jesse Ostrom to provide Estate Planning services to one of my clients. I was looking for a relationship with an attorney who would reflect the values and the level of service we provide at our firm, and someone that my clients would be comfortable dealing with. From our very first interaction I knew that Jesse's approach was exactly what I was looking for.

Having worked with several lawyers in the past, it was important to me that the professional I partnered with treat my client with the utmost respect, not simply part of a process. Jesse does just that. He treats every client as an individual and takes excellent care of their legal needs.

Jesse is very professional; he speaks very clearly and concisely and puts the client first. It gives me and my associates great comfort knowing that he cares about our clients lives and works as a partner to meet their needs."

Financial Advisor with Local Investment Firm

"I have post-traumatic stress disorder from the Vietnam war. I had been turned down twice by Social Security for my disability benefits. I had another lawyer last year, and he just dropped the ball. So I went to DiRenzo & Bomier because I knew that they had been around for a long time and had an excellent reputation.

The first feeling I got when I met Rachel was one of confidence and compassion. Right from the start I had the feeling that she knew just what she was doing.

It only took about a month to get my hearing. She called me several times throughout the month to tell me about my case. She made me very confident that she could win. When we went in front of the administrative law judge, she was so prepared and so strong, that she won the case and got my disability benefits for me.

Rachel is a very caring person. She acts like she knows what she's doing and definitely says what she means. She was quite concerned about me after the trial because I was so overwhelmed by the experience - that I was actually going to get my benefits after all this time."

Fox Cities Man

"My company was involved in a messy property buying situation that simply wasn't getting resolved. The closing date was rolling around and we weren't any closer to a settlement. So I called Roy Fine and put the whole thing in his lap. Roy just took care of everything. He walked us through the problems involved, explained what would happen at the closing and he even handled the uncooperative seller.

"Roy Fine is an excellent real estate attorney and a good man to have around in an emergency."

Terry Abraham

"When you go through a divorce, you're pretty vulnerable and not looking much into the future. You're just trying to make it through each day. Howard Healy not only talked me through the legal part of my difficult case, but counseled me about the future - where I would live, what I could afford, what help I might need to get through this. At times like this, you need someone who cares, but has a cool head.

The entire staff at DiRenzo & Bomier involved in my case took care of me from the day I walked in until long after."
